Do you want to know God better and become who He’s created you to be?
Here are some places to start:

~ Aloha Groups: This is how we “DO LIFE TOGETHER.” Aloha Groups are the friends and ‘ohana (family) you laugh, grow, and serve with. Each Aloha Group at WCC is different, yet all are focused on growing better together! Let us help you find an Aloha Group that’s right for you. For more info about Aloha Groups, contact Annette at WaikoloaCC@gmail.com.

~ Serve With Us: You can make a big difference in someone’s life by serving on one of our Strategic Service Teams. To get started, select an area of ministry where you’d like to serve and contact the church by emailing WaikoloaCC@gmail.com.

~ Explore Your Purpose: Each of us has a unique purpose that is solely ours to fulfill. Uncover yours by participating in one of our Exploration Seminars.

* FOR YOUR FAMILY

We believe strong families start with a solid foundation. We endeavor to partner with parents to raise the next generation of fully devoted followers of Christ.

~ Aloha Riders Kids Ministry: Your kids are invited to join an experience designed just for them! Kids Church occurs, at the same time as our Adult Worship Experience in our Multi-Purpose Building.

Our Dolphin, Whale, and Surf Riders meet in our Surf/Whale Riders Room in our Multi-Purpose Building each Sunday for our one-room Kids Church for ages 4 through 5th grade.

Our Honu Riders Nursery is for toddlers, 2s, and 3s. The Honu Riders Room is located in our Multi-Purpose Building. The Little Honu Riders Room in the Worship Center is for parents who wish to see and hear the service while caring for a young child.

~ Point Break Student Ministry: We would LOVE to offer a quality youth program for 6th-12th graders as well! We need some initial volunteers to help make that happen and some interested youth to participate. Let us know of any interest and we’ll make it happen as soon as possible.

NEW YEAR NEW HABITS: The Pursuit of Holiness
Part 1 ~ Perseverance

The Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. ~ Lamentations 3:22-23 (NASB1995)

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. ~ 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NASB1995)

For I am the Lord your God. Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am holy. ~ Leviticus 11:44a (NASB1995)

His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. ~ 2 Peter 1:3-4 (NASB1995)

We CAN ALWAYS participate in the divine nature,
we just don’t always CHOOSE to do so.

Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge, and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness, and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins. ~ 2 Peter 1:5-9 (NASB1995)

Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. ~ Philippians 3:13-14 (NASB1995)

DIÓKŌ- GREEK ~ to pursue, to chase, to press forward with intensity, or to strive toward a goal

PERSEVERANCE DEFINITION ~ The continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure or opposition.

HUPOMONE – GREEK ~ to persevere, to endure, to bear up under, or to remain by, holding a strategic position no matter the cost

Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. ~ Matthew 24:9-13 (NASB 1995)

Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. ~ 1 Corinthians 16:13 (NASB1995)

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. ~ James 1:2-4 (NIV)

Perseverance is the work of personal holiness.
Personal holiness is the result of a long course
of obedience to the Holy will of our Holy God.

Success is not solely the result of innate talent
b
ut also of dedicated and focused effort.

For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises again, But the wicked stumble in time of calamity.  ~  Proverbs 24:16 (NASB1995)

For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  ~ 2 Peter 1:8 (NASB1995)

For he who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins. ~ 2 Peter 1:9 (NASB1995)

But if I am to live on in the flesh, this will mean fruitful labor for me; and I do not know which to choose. But I am hard-pressed from both directions, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for that is very much better;  ~ Philippians 1:22-23 (NASB1995)

… yet to remain on in the flesh is more necessary for your sake. Convinced of this, I know that I will remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy in the faith, so that your proud confidence in me may abound in Christ Jesus through my coming to you again.~ Philippians 1:24-26 (NASB1995)

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing. ~ 2 Timothy 4:7-8 (NASB1995)

For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. ~ Philippians 1:6 (NASB1995)

Even when you feel overwhelmed and ready to quit,
God is NEVER going to quit on you.

You CAN do it IF you WILL do it! IF you don’t give up!
