Part 24: Mark 7:31-37

“Be Opened!” — Jesus takes the long way around in Gentile Territory (Mark 7:31–37)

Why does Jesus take the long way through Tyre, Sidon, and the Decapolis? It’s not a detour—it’s a declaration. In this message we trace His deliberate 120-mile loop into Gentile lands and watch Isaiah’s promise come alive as He opens a deaf man’s ears and loosens his tongue. From geography to theology, we see that there are no “God-forsaken places,” and no person beyond His reach. Hear the sigh of the Savior who enters our pain, the command “Ephphatha—Be opened!”, and the call for us to plant seeds where we live. Open ears, loosed tongues, and a simple challenge: invite someone to meet Jesus with you this week. Amen?
