“By What Authority?” When the Truth Stands Right in Front of You
Mark 11:27–33

This week Pastor G talks about the day Jesus returned to the Temple after cleansing it. We will see the religious leaders confront Him with a pointed question: “By what authority are You doing these things?” But instead of defending Himself, Jesus turns the question back on them with one brilliant counter-question about John the Baptist. In this powerful passage, Pastor G shows us that the real issue was never lack of evidence. It was unwillingness to accept the truth because of what it would cost. In this message, he explores the nature of Jesus’ authority, the danger of letting pride and power blind us to truth, and the question every person must ultimately answer: Is Jesus merely a teacher, or does His authority truly come from heaven?
