We Are All Barabbas
Mark 15:7–15

Barabbas was guilty. Jesus was innocent. Barabbas deserved judgment. Jesus did not. Yet the guilty man walked free while the innocent Son of God went to the cross in his place. In Mark 15:7–15, one of the clearest pictures of the Gospel unfolds before us: we are all Barabbas. We are the guilty ones, the rebels and sinners who deserve judgment, yet Jesus willingly took our place so that we could walk free. The question Pilate asked that morning still confronts every one of us today: “What shall I do with Jesus?” Amazing grace like this deserves an answer.
